Brief description

According to a number of parameters the system being developed supersedes known analogues, is distinguished by assembly units and elements operation reliability, better technical characteristics, which enable it to monitor the AE-events at low-level energy consumption, broad wave-band, and high spatial resolution capability, leading to more profound rock failure process reflection.

The geomechanical monitoring system functional assembly units and elements have been constructed and tested, also experimental exemplar equipped with 10 geo-phones have been produced.

There is a possibility to further enhance the product and secure its additional applications.

“Know-how” is present and rights for it may be transferred.

Examples of practical application

The system is utilized in mining industry to secure the mineral excavation processes safety.

The ASRPC control system is implemented at “Antei” deposit mining sites (rock-bump hazardous horizons of the mine “Gluboki”, PPGHO plc (Chitinskaya Oblast, Russia), R&D implementation certificate dated 10.07.2007).

Agreements are signed to carry our research at:

  • Nikolaevskoe and Yuzhnoe deposits of “GMK “Dalpolimetall” plc (Primorski Krai, Russia), Contract № 46/2007-D dated 15.07.2007, Contract № 53/2008-D dated 01.08.2008;
  • by seismoacoustic method, deposit “Antei”, “Priargunskoe PGHO” plc (Krasnokamensk city, Chitinskaya Oblast, Russia), Contract № 10-05/9412 dated 11.08.2008;
  • being explored tungsten ore deposit “Zabytoe”, “Primorski GOK” plc (Primorski Krai, Russia). Contract № 51/2008-P dated 15.05.2008.

The Institute has brought to commercial stage the created system, which can make it possible to raise the effectiveness and safety standards of underground mining operations. An experimental-industrial prototype is produced. Main product consumers are mining enterprises engaged in underground operations.
